Error 1018 typically is received due to the AutoDataRefresh setting.

You should set DynamiCube's AutoDataRefresh property to False when adding or removing fields. This will prevent DynamiCube from trying to pull data from the data source while you are trying to add or remove fields. After you are finished adding or removing fields, you can set the AutoDataRefresh property back to True.
