Hi,
We have noticed decreased speed performance in DC3 (compared to DC2) whenever calculated fields are used. I was informed by support that this issue was already reported and fix could be in works.
Please inform us when fix is available.
So far DC3 looks great.

Thank you for the post. You are correct; this issue should be addressed in the next build released. You can be notified via e-mail when the build is posted by tracking the downloads section. To do this, you should choose an appropriate value from the "Download Tracking Option" combo box from the DynamiCube download page.

Can you verify whether speed issue related to cube with calculated field is resolved in the latest build 1160.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, our development staff has found that the changes to make DynamiCube work faster with calculated fields would compromise the results of the calculated fields. So, CR#15850 has been left open so that our development staff can investigate alternative ways to help DynamiCube work with calculated fields more quickly.

Almost 4 months have passed since this bug was described here.. My customers are really complaining about this ! Can we hope a solution soon, or are we going to celebrate the birthday of this bug ?

DyamiCube is not dead. I see where you state this all over our forums and it simply is not true. We are working on DynamiCube, and we have a hotfix scheduled for sometime next month. Please be patient.

And it seems that we MUST be patient...
Any new information about this bug ?
Is it going to be classified "As Designed" ? Do we have to wait DynamiCube 4 ?
