INFO: Why Does the Evaluation Dialog Appear, Even Though I Have a Licensed Copy of ActiveBar?

Due to a possible problem with your setup, your license was not properly registered. In order to solve this problem, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall your copy of ActiveBar. Follow these steps to properly reinstall and license ActiveBar on your development machine:

  1. First uninstall ActiveBar using the uninstall option on the start menu.
  2. Ensure that the ActiveBar directory and all files in it are deleted.
  3. Using the 'Find' utility, ensure that no other instances of actbar2.ocx (ActiveBar2) exist on your system. If any are found, unregister (using regsvr32.exe) and delete all of them.
  4. Install the software again from your licensed diskette.

Note: If the setup does not prompt you for your serial number, you need to delete the abdata.ini file and start the installation over again.
