Cyndi,

This case is at the highest priority with the Project Management team. We do not have any ETA currently associated with this case however you will be notified once a build containing a fix for this issue will be released.

I apologize I could not provide a better answer on this.

Regards,
Amit

Hi Cyndi,

You are most definitely on the affected user list :)

I talked with the developer working on this issue last night and he had made some changes which makes this kind of report possible but it will require some changes to the way the report is structured.  He was hoping that he could get a build to the support guys today and they would be able to work with you to get the report working.

James

Cyndi,

To incorporate the below mentioned changes, I would request you to please download the latest version of DDR from here:
ftp://ftp.fpoint.com/ActiveReports/builds/1.6.1699.0-mainline.zip

Please find attached the modified report which is working fine however we do have some recommendations/questions for you:

(1) In the attached report, we have added a banded list group that groups on the field AccountNumber. The first textbox/list/matrix has been moved to the group header and the group footer is hidden.
When this report is rendered, it shows the band header at the top of each page. The reason being that each instance of the group header band is less than the height of a page.

(2) Are you looking to have all of the report items below List1 in the detail band? If these items are hidden then this will lead to the empty gaps in the rendered report.

(3) It seems that you are looking for the detail grouping of the banded list and this is the reason we have added a group.

If this does not works out as per your satisfaction then please let us know your exact requirements in detail so that we can check this issue further at our end.

Sorry for the late response, it has been a while since I checked the forum. I downloaded and updated my project to the 1.6.199.0 version. I modified my report to use the banded list. However, I am getting a 230 page empty report? Attached is a report that uses an XML dataset. In the dataset, there are accounts that are of two account types: Operaing Exp and Other Income / Exp. The attached report contains a banded list with the description matrix in the header (so that it will repeat per page). In the body of the banded list are two matrixes: one to handle account types of Operating Exp and a second to handle account types of Other Income / Exp. I've also attached a pdf of the expected result of the print.
