Hi All,

We just got the following error from the Event Viewer of our production
server:

Neg response to the isapi dll: Failed to find the Cache Item

During the error, All the customer can't view the report through the AR
viewer and
the following message prompt from the viewer:

Error 5013: Invalid DataPath

We have meet this error before, but still don't know how to solve it. The
only things we
can do is Restart the WebCacheService, and then everything resume normal.
So, anyone
know what's the problem? What action can we take to prevent it happen again
in future?

Thx for your help!

Br,
Rayman

Hello Rayman--

Usually when you get this error it is indicating that the report did not
finish running for one reason or another and when the viewer tries to load
that report it can not because the report is not complete. The best thing
to do is to figure out what is causing the report to fail. The best way to
do that is to enter some App.Logevent statement into your ActiveX DLL so you
can see if you can narrow down what is causing this. Another thing you
could do is see if it is a problem with the WebCache try streaming the
reports and see if you are still having this problem.
