Dividing lines trouble/border trouble

The problem is that i've got a subreport with several data fields in it. At
the moment i have some static dividing lines between each field. The trouble
starts when the fields (set to CanGrow) grow, the dividing lines don't.

I've tried getting round this by setting borders round the fields but this
doesn't work if one field has significantly more data in it than the other.
I can kinda get this effect which ain't pretty:

¦asdasd ¦ asd ¦ qweqwe¦
¦awdgd ¦
¦12 ¦
------------------------

Anybody got any ideas how to get round this? Maybe set the dividing lines
length to the heigth of the detial section or somthing?

TIA,

Rick Blyth
