Re: Export to Word w/ Columns

Export works well at the moment only the places where the table appears seems to be wrong. The first textbox is placed where text should start according to the document settings (margins) The table starts above the page. Ive add the examples again. Sorry for the inconvenience...

I am not sure what you mean by "The table starts above the page". I have opened the Word document that is attached by using MS Word 2007 and the output looks to be exactly the same as in the PDF document. Could you please specify what is wrong with the Word output in more details?

Re: Export to Word w/ Columns
On my workstation here, i'm using word 2000. Maybe thats the problem. By "The table starts above the page" I mean that the table starts on 1 mm of the edge of the paper while the textboxes start on the normal margins. I'll try to export the file in a more recent version of Word on another workstation. I'll let you know what the results are.

Please, keep in mind that Word Rendering Extension supports for MS Word XP or later version.

I tried the report again using Word 2003 but still the order of the textboxes (compared to the order in the format of the report) is not right. In the format I start the report with 3 textboxes. Two of the textboxes are starting right after the first table in the generated report. You can see in the printscreen what my problem is. Also not perfect is that de table doesn't 'break' smoothly at the end of the page. I also add that one in the printscreen. Summarised: the PDF is perfect, but the word-export still doesn't match.

One of our customers wants to export the reports to word so they can edit the report when needed and add some rows when they want to. Export to PDF works perfectly but they don't want to use PDF's. So thats why we need the export-function to work well.

Sorry for the inconvenience again!

Re: Export to Word w/ Columns
Hello,
It seems that the output is not properly displayed in Word 2003, but looks fine in Word 2007. Could you check with Word 2007?
