Hi,
we have a problem with the font on the report. This problem occurs only with widescreen monitors (1920 x 1080) AND if we run our application through Remote Desktop Connection. I attached 2 screenshots, one runned localy (OK.JPG), one from our server, connected with remote desktop connection (NOK.JPG)
Do you have an idea what's wrong here?
Thanks in advance Matt

Hello,
What is the font that you are using? Is this font installed on the server? Can you check the behavior if you create a small vb6 program-> use a textbox with text whose font is the same as used in the reports and run the same through Remote Desktop connection and check if you see simmilar results?
Regards, Prantik

Hi Prantik,
I made a little sample project, if I run this locally, it works fine, if I connect through rdp to my machine, the painting of the font goes wrong, only if I use a widescreen monitor. I add again some screenshots.
Thanks for looking into the problem
Matt

Hello Matt,
i am afraid i am not sure what may be the issue here. However, you may try changing the DPI settings for the machine.I found a somwhat simillar issue here. Also, can you try running a VB6 forms application from the remote machine and see how the fonts look. Please let us know of your observations.
Regards, Prantik
