Hello,
The report which you have attached has a Master Report. This Master report has the Orientation set to Portrait. I tested this with Portrait as well as Landscape however the Chart gets rendered in the first page only.
Please see the attached exported PDF file.
I have tested this with version 1.6.1871.45. If you are using any other version, then please download the latest version from here:

Yes, it's ok to export to .pdf, it is always Portrait whatever Orientation you set. But in the viewer, the first page is still empty and the chart goes to the next page. The version of DDR I tested with is also 1.6.1871.45. Thanks.

Hello,
I will answer your questions in the same order in which they were asked:
(1) Regarding Chart getting rendered on second page when orientation is set to Landscape – This is happening because the Height of PageHeader and PageFooter is set very high in the Master report you have attached. When the Orientation is set to Landscape, the Width of the page is 11in and the Height is 8.5in. So, for a page with height of 8.5in, first the space is accommodated for Margins, PageHeader and PageFooter. The remaining space is then left for the Body region to render. Moreover, on the first page of your report there is some additional information being printed which you have specified (I think for Report Headers). This further takes the limited space on the first page. Chart does not find enough space on the first page and it gets rendered on the second page.
I have modified your master report and content report and have attached it with this post. You will find that the Chart does get printed on the first page in case of Landscape orientation. If you want to add more ReportItems or DataRegions to the Report Content Placeholder, then you can do so.
(2) Currently, the landscape orientation is not retained when exporting the report to PDF in the latest release (1.6.1871.45). However, this has already been resolved in one of the interim builds and the fix will be part of the next maintenance release.
