05-07-2010, 10:12 AM svz Joined on 08-28-2004 Posts 1 Visual Studio 2010 Windows 7 Dynamic Cube (3.3) Error when drugging control from a toolbox to a form. Attachment: DynamicCubeError.png We have installed version 3.3 on Windows 7 64 bit. When trying to drag dynamic cube control from a toolbox to a form we are getting following error message: Failed to create component 'AxHost'. The error mesage follows: 'System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: Unable to load on or more of the requested types... System.Windows.Forms.Design.DocumentDesigner.AxTololboxItem.CreateComponentsCore(IDesignerHost host). Also [DynamicCubeLib] reference in the project shows yellow warning, that indicates that file is not found. Please help    Report

Supported languages are: Visual Basic 5.0,Visual Basic 6.0 Visual C++ 5.0, Visual C++ 6.0 Visual Basic .NET and C# in Visual Studio.NET 2002, 2003, and 2005 Thank you, Andrey T.    Report

Edwin, Yes, we did some testing and it shows DynamiCube3 works on Windows 7 with the same experience that was available on Windows Vista: http://www.datadynamics.com/forums/101351/ShowPost.aspx However, while some users have used DynamiCube in Visual FoxPro and experienced good results, unfortunately, though, Visual FoxPro is not an officially supported environment for DynamiCube.
