Hello,
We've just updated to the latest version (1.6.1819.0) to correct a couple of fairly minor issues, which all works well. However, unfortunately now one of our reports, which was fine in previous versions, now has formatting problems in the webviewer. There are large blank gaps and information is displayed underneath the page numbering in the page footer for some pages. However, if we export to pdf for example the report looks fine.
The report itself is a banded list control containing two groups a (heading group and a section group) and the detail contains a subreport which passes a sectionid as a parameter. Could you check out to see what might have changed to cause this, as this was formatting perfectly in previous versions.
many thanks,
Joe

Joe,
First of all, the latest version which we have released is 1.6.1818.0. Please make sure that you have installed the correct version.
Can you please attach the RDLX along with the sample data so that we can check this issue further at our end?

It's definitely 1.6.1819.0 - it was downloaded from your ftp site last week.
I'm reluctant to post the actual rdlx and master file etc, but before trying to replicate the problem with a test report perhaps you could confirm that subreports bound to xml in a bandedlist are working as you expect in this version.

I've just tried this with 1818 and it's working fine, which is good news. Perhaps I am picking up updates from the wrong place - should I be looking somewhere other than the ftp site?

Unless requested to try a build by support it is recommended that you download the builds via our Releases page.
The FTP is used by the support department to provide builds that they have asked specific users to try out to see whether an issue is fixed for them.
In this case 1819 resolves an issue with the space taken by a subreport not collapsing when its Visibility.Hidden expression evaluates to True. However, 1819 came from outside of our stabilization branch and has many more changes in it than 1818 does.
I can understand not wanting to post your reports to the forum, but it would be helpful if you can email the RDLXs that demonstrate the issue to our support department (support@grapecity.us.com) so that we can look into why your reports are broken in the newer build.
Thanks,
James
