We have a .NET 1.1 application that uses ActiveReports. When I right click on ActiveReports.dll, the version is 4.0.0.1094. Several machines have been swapped out with Windows 7 machines. Some, but not all, machines open a blank report everytime. My guess is that this is some kind of permission issue, since there is an empty report file in the temp directory. The user is an admin on the machine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I would like to inform you that the build of ActiveReports for .Net 2.0 you are using is quite an old build. You can download the latest build 4.3.0.1261 from here.
Is it a windows application or website project? Are you getting the blank report while running the application? Are you able to open the designer? Are you running the Visual Studio with elevated administrator permissions like right-click the Visual Studio icon and select the "Run as administrator" option from the context menu?
Regards, Ankit Nigam

I realize the build is old, however the system was programmed back in 2004/2005. It is a production system that we don't do further development on, so the old version is fine. It is a Windows app... we are trying to install it on Windows 7 machines. These are user's machines and do not have Visual Studio on them.
Apparently the tech guy was loading these machines from an image, some worked some did not. He ended up wiping the faulty machines and reloading from scratch (not the image). That resolved the issue. Must have been somthing glitchy with the image and permissions.
