Crystal Reports converter source code
Hello,

several pages on this website reference ftp://www.datadynamics.com but this link is not working anymore.

In particular I was interested in the crystal reports converter's source code.

Thank you,
Kind regards

Hello,

If you have installed ActiveReports 2.0 for COM, you will find the Crystal Reports to ActiveReports Convertor in C:\Program Files\Data Dynamics\ActiveReports folder.

Prantik

Re: Crystal Reports converter source code
Hello,

indeed the executable is there, but we need to convert from Crystal Reports XI, thus we need to change the references in the source code.

We did find in these very forums the link to the source code but it is not working now.

Any chance you can please post them here?

Thank you for your time,
Kind regards.

Re: Crystal Reports converter source code
Hello,

Please take a look at this KB article. You may download the trial version of ActiveReports6 from this link and then use the DiamondReportsAR6.zip sample to convert the crystal reports to ActiveReports6. After this open the RPX created in notepad-> change the scriplang=”C#” to scriplang=”VBScript” to use the same with ActiveReports for COM. It would be a reverse procedure of what is described here.

However, I would like to add that the diamond Reports sample is a building block and not a feature of ActiveReports and the conversion rates may not be 100%.

Regards,
Prantik
