Licensing Problem for VS 2003 for Active Reports, ActiveReports.dll

Hi,

We have purchase license for Ar3 Standard Edition.
I can install the license successfully.

But i am still getting 'Evaluation Copyright..' Message Printed in my existing reports.

I have tried remove existing ActiveRpt references and add ActiveRpt Refernces again.

I have license.licx file with text "DataDynamics.ActiveReports.ActiveReport, ActiveReports "

I have already tried for more than one day,but was not able to solve this issue.

Could you guide me..

Hello,

I hope this is only a windows application. In that case please make sure that you have entries as such in the license.licx

DataDynamics.ActiveReports.ActiveReport3, ActiveReports3, Version=x.x.xxxx.x, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc4967777c49a3ff

The version number should be the same as in your machine. After this, rebuild the solution and the evaluation message should go away.

My current Active Report version is '3.0.0.1870' when i convert it to '5.3.1436.1' from Tools Option as attached.

Evaluation Message disappears.

I have no problem in converting from '3.0.0.1870' to '5.3.1436.1'

but will there be any future issues to existing reports due to his conversion.

Hello,

The version 3.0.0.1870 is for ActiveReports 1.0 for .Net and I think the current product installed in your machine is ActiveReports for .Net 3.0. If this is so, you will need to have reference to the version 5.3.1436.1 in the license.licx file.
