hi,

the link [1] to the schema help *** on this page [2]is dead!

The reason iam saying this is because i wonder why we need to create a schema file, when we are using a relation database. (I was hoping that page whould clarify that)

you need the schemafile. this schemafile describe fields, hierarchies, fieldtypes, captions, groups and other attributes of the recordset-fields ! (like dateparts, quarter, months, weekday...)
more you see tomorrow at my own input (directly from the wonderful switzerland)
