Cell Tip problem in Windows Vista
|
|
|
|
|
When we have a cell tip display in Vista, the text and background seems to be transparent. The text shows as clear and the background is slightly see-through. Explicitly setting the AlphaLevel properties for all four elements in the Style object available in the FetchCellTip event does nothing.

jpaz,
I've tested few #Grid samples on Windows Vista and ToolTips behaviour is the same as on Windows XP. Could you please send me a small sample and steps to reproduce the issue?
Thank you,
Andrey T.

We also have the same problem. It appears when we're using SG20O.ocx on an Access 2007 VBA Form as container on Windows Vista. The problem doesn't appear when using an Access 2003 VBA Form as container for SharpGrid.

Ejayf,Excuse me for a long delay. While Access allows you to build Visual Basic code it is important to
note that Access is not the same as Visual Basic. That is it wraps its
own properties around ActiveX controls and hides others from
Intellisense. We cannot submit a case for this issue unless it reproducable in Visual Basic IDE.
Thank you, Andrey T.
