Displaying trend on a chart

Attachment: YoYTrend.doc
Hi,

In our application we have sales data for two periods and growth trend between the two periods.

How can we display both the sales and the trend as in the attached, which was created using Excel.

Appreciate any solution or suggestion to generate similar chart in DataDynamics Reports.

thanks

Re: Displaying trend on a chart
It seems that the best way to create such a Chart is to use Y2 Axis. This axis currently does not exist in ‘Chart’ DataRegion in DataDynamics Report.
However, I have added this as a feature request in our system as Case 132027 so that an Y2 axis will be provided for such situation.

I have also added your email address to the list of affected users for Case 132027.

Regards,
Amit

Re: Displaying trend on a chart
Hi Amit,

Can you please advise on the expected time for this to be addressed in the product? Appreciate if you can help expedite this case.

Given the robust capability in Data Dynamic reports with features like sparkline, bullet graph, ability for rendering pareto chart etc. I believe addition of this feature in the product will greatly enhance business reporting as lot of business users would like to see the trend for eg: Period over Period trend.

thanks

Currently, there is no ETA associated with this case.
However, I have shared your feedback with the Project Management team.

I am extremely sorry as I could not provide you a better answer on this.

Thanks again for providing such a feature request.

Regards,
Amit
