Export to Word w/ Columns

Do you know if this works? I have 2 columns on my report and when I export to word, and open it, the right column isn't visible and some extra little boxes appear. I'm not sure what is causing it - and thought maybe exporting to word with columns isn't supported.

OK - I figured out that if I removed the boxes, I can see that second column - but I still don't know what those extra boxes even are.

Hello,
Which version of Data Dynamics Reports are you using?
I have tested this issue with the latest version and export to word is working perfectly at my end.
Please find attached a sample application along with this post. I would request you to please modify this sample accordingly and sent it back to us so that we can check this issue further at our end.

I seem to have the very same problem here. When i export the report to word, a lot of blind textboxes appear all over the document. Its not just removing them because the report has to be edited anyway. i added an example of a report which i've exported to word. Also the latest version of the reportfile itself.
Im using Data Dynamics 1.5.1052 so that shouldn't be the issue.Hope someone can help.

Thanks for posting the files.
I have been able to replicate this issue with the latest public release (1.5.1052.0).
However, this issue is not getting replicated with the latest interim build available (1.6.1103.0).
I would request you to please download this build from our ftp server:

I would also like to tell you that the interim build has not gone through the typical Quality Assurance cycle that our public builds must pass prior to release. We highly recommend that developers avoid using these builds in production environments due to the possibility of unknown issues.

I've installed the build you advised and made an export to word. At the moment i
still have the same problem with textboxes which jump to the right and
aren't in the right position. In PDF the report looks fine just as
before. The empty textboxes issue is solved in the new build just as you said. Ive added the word export.

I was able to reproduce the problem on my side, entered change request #128211 and started to work on this. Once the problem is fixed and the build to release is prepared, you will be notified about that.

Case 128211 (Export to Word Re-Shift the item to an invalid position) has been fixed in the latest version (1.6.1132.0) of DataDynamics Reports.

I installed the latest version again. Now i have problems with the blank tables again. The end of the rapport looks better. Ive send the testdoc with this reply. Its the same report as used in a few posts before this one.

We have been able to replicate this issue and entered this as Case 128658. The development team has started to work on the case and we expect to have a build which contains fix by the end of next week.
I have also entered your email address to the list of affected users for this case.
