Hi
I have activereports 2.0 installed and running on vista 64 bit, but whenever I try to go to view the report in design time vb6 crashes and when I run the reports in runtime the viewer control appears and the code runs, but the reports themselves fail to show.
Is there a known issue with ar2 on Vista 64?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Terrapod,
Please try Sergey's suggestion to see if it helps you. However, unfortunately ActiveReports 2 (COM) is not supported for design time use in 64-bit operating systems. In addition, Microsoft does not support the Visual Basic 6 IDE under Vista 64-bit. They provided extended support for the IDE under Vista 32-bit until April 8, 2008.
VB6 runtime applications will need to run in WOW emulation.
Please see Microsoft official support statement for more information. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vbrun/ms788708.aspx
Instead I recommend using another machine for ActiveReports 2 (COM) development. Many people who need to support legacy VB6 applications and also need to use a newer 64-bit OS will run XP 32-bit in a VM.
Tim
