Disable buttons on web viewer
Is there a way to disable some of the options on the web viewer toolbar? The most important option is not letting the user get the sidebar which I set to hidden in code, but I would also like to prevent changing the viewer type and emailing, but allow exporting to PDF.

Re: Disable buttons on web viewer
SkipFire,

Currently we do not support customization of the WebReportViewer. I have entered Case 40678 as a suggestion to have customization of the WebReportViewer be implemented.

You should receive an email shortly, which confirms that you have been added to the notification list for the case.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Jon

SkipFire,

I have attached an updated version of the sample provided on a separate thread which uses a workaround for hiding the items you wish to not have displayed. I must let you know that this is a workaround and is not officially supported even though it may work until we provide our own implementation mentioned in Case 40678.

This modified version uses a CSS class in conjunction with JavaScript to hide specific elements on the page with the viewer.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Jon
