In this lesson you will learn how to access the underlying or aggregated data so that it can be studied or analyzed in other applications.
Prerequisites
This lesson assumes that you will have a view open with which you wish to access the underlying data.
Select the data points you wish to examine
Using the mouse, click and drag to select a series of data points (windows) or a series of data panes (web).
View underlying/aggregated data
Right click on your selection and choose to view the underlying data or the aggregated data.
Copy selected data to the clipboard
Once the underlying data dialog is displayed you can then select individual cells and rows that you are interested in and copy them to the clipboard. This data can then be pasted into Microsoft Excel or other applications that support Tab Separated Value formatted text.
