In this lesson you will learn how to display a trend line on a chart and control various settings on it.
Prerequisites
To use the trend line functionality, your layout must be displaying an X/Y chart.
Add trend lines
Right click in the pivot view and choose to "Show trend lines"
Change trend line options
The trend line options available allow you to change the type of line generated and also change how many lines are created. These are the settings for the example below.
