Glossary Item Box

Use the details group to group data within a list. You can place lists within lists to create nested grouping.

To group a list

  1. In the Layout view of the report, right-click the List report item and choose Properties.
  2. On the Detail Grouping page, enter a Name for the group.
  3. Under Group on, enter an expression by which to group the data.
  4. Under Document map label, you can optionally set a label to add the item to the document map (table of contents).
  5. Under Parent group, you can optionally set the parent group for a recursive hierarchy.  See Grouping and Sorting Data for more information.
