The Parameters page of the Dataset smart panel is where you can pass a Report Parameter into the parameter you entered in the Query page. See the Parameters topic for more information on how this is done. Enter a Name (must match the name of the Report Parameter) and a Value for each parameter in this page.

You can edit the parameters, move them up or down using the arrow buttons, delete them using the X button, or add new ones by scrolling to the bottom of the list and entering a new parameter name in the blank cell next to the asterisk (*). The parameter name must be unique within the dataset.

The Value of a parameter can be a static value or an expression referring to an object within the report. The Value cannot refer to a report item or field.
