Within an expression, you can use data visualizations to emphasize data in your reports based on any criteria you set. For example, you can red flag an overdue account using the Flags icon set as a background image. The following links will take you to a deeper understanding of how each type of data visualization works.

Note: The terms "argument" and "parameter" may seem interchangeable, but within expressions, an argument is actually the returned value of a parameter, while a parameter may be a variable. |
Dialogs
Each area where a property can be set using one of these Data Visualizer expressions will have an option called <Data Visualizer...> among its choices. Selecting this option will launch either the Color Visualizer or the Image Visualizer dialog as appropriate and allow you to build the correct Data Visualizer expression through a dialog instead of through typing out the entire expression. See the topic for the Data Visualizer you will be using for a description of its dialog.
